Ronnie James Dio ตำนานแห่งวงการ Heavy Metal นักร้องนำของ Rainbow และ Black Sabbath
เสียชีวิตลงแล้วในวัย 67 ปี ที่ ลอสแอนเจลิส เมื่อวันที่ 16 พ.ค. 2010จากอาการของโรคมะเร็งในช่องท้อง

Ronny James Dio เริ่มเป็นที่รู้จักเมื่อปี 1975 ในฐานะนักร้องนำคนแรกของวง Rainbow ของ Ritchie Blackmore
ที่เพิ่งลาออกจาก Deep Purple เป็นมือกีตาร์ และยังเข้าไปแทนตำแหน่งของ Ozzy Osbourne ในวง Black Sabbath
ได้สร้างอัลบั้ม Heaven And Hell เมื่อปี 1980 ที่ได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็นหนึ่งอัลบั้ม Heavy Metal ที่ดีที่สุดตลอดกาล
หลังจากนั้นเขายังเข้าๆ ออกๆ วงร็อคระดับตำนานวงนี้อีกหลายครั้ง
      
นอกจากการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Rainbow และ Black Sabbath ตำนานแห่งวง Rock ทั้งสองแล้ว Ronnie James Dio
